The past week has been the time out of term, a time that I have more time in hand. But I am not too sure if this reflected in my increased results in the change challenge.
To begin with, I think it has remained the same. For some reason, rather than improving, somehow in my mind it's like the change is done and just keep doing. Which is not how it is supposed to be, I should be consistently improving. From 3 days of exercise, I should go for 4 days and 5 days of exercise.
Starting from exercise, I have not been well, but I still achieved my exercise regime to an extent. Maybe because I have made a commitment, so I followed it. For example, I went to all three Salsa classes this past week though I was not really keen on it. I still cycled fast. But I feel I can do more.
Moving on to eating healthily, I have been eating bread in the morning and noodle soup with vegetables frequently. Sometimes, depending on the food served in the dining hall, I have some meals there. One of the days I had a potluck with my classmates. I guess I indulged myself there. After that, I went back to the same regime. I feel like my meal is not too bad health-wise, but I could find another 2 menus for me to cook.
Finally, doing things that makes me happy. Last week and this week is a bit weird. For some reason, I did not enjoy Salsa like I used to. Probably because I have not been too well, with me still recovering from last week. Or maybe because it is out of term that I have been losing some motivation. Having classes keeps me on the go, and I guess I have been enjoying the classes. In general, I feel I am a workaholic, since last time. Without work, I tend to lose motivation. But I think it's great that I still pushed myself to go for my dance, and joining my classmates for the potluck. So I chose to read books instead, books outside of the topics of my course. It has been slightly interesting. But I genuinely hope the term starts soon.
So, my exercise is constant, the food improved, and the happy part, I am just confused about that.
p.s. slowly vegetarian meals have been almost 70% of the food I eat.
