Some updates since the last post:
1. Eating healthily - I have started on the soup recipe and have been including various types of vegetables, and in some ways it is quite healthy. I had a plan to meet a dietician, which has not been done yet. Also, my girlfriend came down with ingredients that I am familiar with and then even cooked for a few days to teach me some recipes. At the end, I am now able to cook a balanced meal daily, which has been consistent for the past 10 days. Probably because i admitted to myself i am failing in this element, that allowed me to seek out for help, which helped to bring me back to the path.
2. Exercise - I have been creative to meet my goals. On top of what i was doing, I have now started a morning routine exercise in the room. It was my new year's goal, and it has been consistent for the past 12 days.
2. Activities - I have been doing good in this element as well, but also ensuring that i do not overdo it. I am planning to go for a theatre play next term, and i am looking forward to it.
My feelings now:
In the past, during my half-marathon events, the last lap used to be the most challenging, but the one that has the highest motivation. It is a mix between the last opportunity to give the best, the joy of moving towards the end point, while being tired of the long journey.
In this case, there are some difference though. Though this is the last lap to submission, this is the beginning of new habits. This change does not stop here, but it shall continue. I plan to hold on to this change, and try to incorporate it in the next environment i am going to as well.
